David Minton
David Minton, born in 1950, has been at the top of his profession for 40 years. A previous Director of the Curragh Bloodstock Agency and his own David Minton Bloodstock, he was head-hunted by the British Bloodstock Agency in 1995 along with Anthony Bromley.
They left in 2001 to set up Highflyer Bloodstock and with Anthony based in Newmarket, David lives with his wife Juliet at Mill House Stud in Shropshire. Juliet is one of the top consignors/breeders in the UK and Mill House Stud is synonymous with quality at the horse sales all across Britain and Ireland.
David has bought two Grand National winners Hedgehunter and Party Politics and three Champion Hurdle winners Kribensis, Beech Road and Comedy Of Errors during an illustrious career. Punchestowns, Khyber Kim, Albertas Run and Zaynar are his current superstars over jumps. David has two daughters, Zoe and Kirsty. He currently sits on the BHA Jump Race Pattern Committee and he is a Director of Ludlow Racecourse.
